"Reducing energy consumption in the production process in Alkat Sp. z o.o. in the Silesian region."
Project co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment.
Alkat Sp. z o.o. is implementing the project "Reducing energy consumption in the production process in Alkat Sp. z o.o. in the Silesian region”, which has been recommended for co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund under 4.2 Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment "Rationalisation of resources and waste management in enterprises".
The subject of the project is the construction of oxygen pipeline from Alkat production plant, located on the site of ArcelorMittal Poland steel mill in Dąbrowa, to CMC Zawiercie steel mill, accompanied with measuring station, and the construction of overhead oxygen pipeline from Alkat plant to the border of ArcelorMittal Poland site, with a total length of 28.8 kilometres (underground part - 25.3 km, overhead part - 3.5 km). The investment will reduce the energy consumption in the production process. Additionally, implementation of the project will contribute to the elimination of losses in the industrial gas compression in the form of volatile oxygen.
