This is particularly suited to crusting and fully quick-freezing small products such as meat and cheese cubes, ground meat and seafood. It can also be used for IQF subcooling of products prior to icing. CRYO IMMERSION UNIT-CFV comprises an insulated vibrating conveyor on which a film of liquid nitrogen very rapidly chills and individually crusts products. A system for recycling the liquid nitrogen reduces consumption to a minimum.
